It’s Time

It’s been a while in years
We’ve packed a lot in our time – all the laughter, tears and fears
But I still want one more thing from you
I just want that little bitty bling from you
You got me glowing like a fire lantern
Hurry up and tie me down ‘fore I float away
I’m tired of hearing about someday

You’re driving like a grandma. Hey, now, I’m in this car too
Just get down on your knee, because I wanna marry you

I just wanna wake up and know you’re mine
Yea, that little piece of paper will do just fine
And I’ll be yours like I’ve always been
My mama’ll be proud us not livin’ in sin
And I know you know I love you
And I know we know it’s true
So, baby, what’s the hold up
I just wanna marry you

And I hate you driving like a grandma, because I’m in this car too
Just get down on your knee, because I wanna marry you

Guess I’ll just do my hair and put my face on every day
And get my nails done every week
That is, until you ask me
We can play house a little bit longer
And I’ll try to be a bit stronger
But the clock’s a-ticking
So let me know if it’s me you’re stickin’ to

Because you’re drivin’ like a grandma. I’m in this car too
Just get down on your knee, because I wanna marry you
